0004863: Saved game crashes on unpausing or 'stepping' after loading
Went to load up a saved game. After about 1.5 seconds, it will crash to desktop. This is only limited to this save file as others will open fine. The game is not modded in any way besides graphic packs.

http://dffd.wimbli.com/file.php?id=4895 [^]
Unpause game and let it run.

Confirming crash. I stepped through the pause and it crashes on step 21.

EDIT: tested some more, and the crash on step is a bit variable.

There are a large number of z-levels for this site and DF gets up over 1gb of ram usage on load.

Reminder sent to: aggiedog

Do you have compressed saves on? It has been known to cause problems on 64-bit systems. Changing it most likely won't help your current save.

No update from OP, but I'm going to relate this to the compressed saves bug for now.

Since save compatibility has been broken since this report, it's hard to tell whether this crash has since been fixed. If anyone has a save that crashes under similar conditions in the latest version, please upload it to http://dffd.wimbli.com/ [^] and PM a manager on the forums (or reopen the report).
