0000650: Crash at Health Care Screen
When trying to acess the health info of a dwarf through the Health Care screen (z->Health) the game crashes.
It only happens after the dwarf in question was dignosed. He had his two feets rooting and the Diagnoser thought it would need a surgery. When you click in the name of the dwarf to see his health info, through the Health Care screen, the game crashes. Did not try to acess the health info of the dwarf through the other way.
The problem may be with the wounds of the specific dwarf, as I hadn't any problem to the same with other dwarves.

It would be helpful if you upload the save file that demonstrates this problem. http://dffd.wimbli.com/ [^]

Sorry, didn't think about it, just never checked the screen anymore until the game auto-saved again. =/. The dwarf died of infection .

Well... do you have a crash dump or crash log, at least? If not, this report will have to go in the "does not reproduce" pile.

Sorry, no. Next time I will keep this in mind and will make a backup of the save.

I'm pretty sure this happens with forgotten beast extract related illnesses. Somebody walks in a pool of extract and contracts some problem, check their health screen (v->z->h) and crash. Every time.

This is with .31.12 on Win 7.

Everybody with this problem has died since so I don't have a save with it active. I've been intermittently using dfcleanmap.exe to save the fort from the horrible self-duplicating uncleanable slime that would otherwise kill everything. May or may not be related.

I now have a save that reliably reproduces this problem:
http://dffd.wimbli.com/file.php?id=3153 [^]

To make it happen, go to my shower (F2, then scroll down) and take a look at the dwarves there.

It's not always the same dwarf, plus you need to let it run for a bit before it occurs. But I made it happen 6 times in a row.

(on a not-really-related note: why is the shower making my dwarves nauseous/unconscious?)

I have another save that crashes every time without any stepping:
http://dffd.wimbli.com/file.php?id=3154 [^]

Hit 'v', find Bёmbul Kolilral in the shower, hit 'z' then 'h'.

Game crashes.

This crash had to do with the beast syndromes.

I went back through the versions and it stops crashing and displays the health information correctly as of 31.22.

Supermathie, the shower wasn't making your dwarfs sick, it was the beast blood/secretions that were washed off your dwarfs and to the floor. Others, especially those without shoes (children/animals), would walk into it and contact the syndromes.
