| Description | "A Giant Rat has stolen ({preserved prepared elk bird lung [5]})!
Im yet to breach the underground. This occurs in adventure mode too( a lot, in fact) with messages about critters stumbling in webs and the like. |

Ah, so that's where all the announcements about theft were coming from! I thought invisible naked mole dogs were stealing all my food.
Later a member of my underground civ grew attached to his spear, and I could zoom to his location (though it looked like solid rock to me.)

I can confirm this one. Immediately upon embarking I got a ton of announcements about naked mole dogs making off with various meatstuffs, obviously belonging to underground civs. |

I have received "Forgotten beast is no longer enraged" several times while there was no forgotten beasts on the unit screen and I didn't receive yet any "has come" popups. |

It is a bit disconcerting when you bring pickled cave fish and chopped liver and then have those same item types reported stolen.
I was all:
"Hey my fish!"
<meeting zone on top of wagon>
"damned-invisible-skulking-naked-mole-dogs!"
<ties up dogs to ropes near wagon and entrance to temp work camp.>
<finishes moving foofstuffs into cellar>
"Argh!"
<places traps around entrance.>
<decides to look up theft on bugtracker as no actual food was disappearing" |

I was about to report this. I had the same thing happen with some food owned by an Unnamed Cave fish man civilization: A Giant Rat has stolen ({preserved giant mole tripe [6]})!
Note that I'm on version 31.18. |
