Summary0008578: no dwarf sized item in ruined fortress
DescriptionWhile testing things on a pocket world, i explored a dwarf fortress that appeared to be a ruin.
I noticed 2 things :

- in the hundred of bedrooms , there is not a single bed
- there are lots of clothing items in each bedroom and not a single one is dwarf sized, they're all "large"

not sure if 1st bug is intentional due to the fort being in fact a ruin, but the 2nd bug should have been fixed in apparently in 40.11 :

and from the uploaded save (character is in the fortress ruins and you can see a dozen of bedroom near and see that all of them only have "large" items) :

I've visited plenty of ruins after the bug was fixed and the armor and items in the trade depot and in the 'shops' are what they should be. Haven't paid close attention to the bedrooms in ruins though.

As far as the beds go, I've seen living forts have bedrooms without beds as well, so it's not just ruined forts.

Was the fortress conquered by e.g. humans?

There was a ruined fort which had been conquered (and left to ruins) by elves in my current adv mode world that I was going to take a look at for this bug, but my home civ reclaimed it shortly before I got there.

In the current ruined fort that I'm checking out, all the bedrooms (so far) are completely empty. It's a fort which was conquered by a forgotten beast and there are 22 dwarves in here for some reason according to legends. Haven't seen any of them yet.

Theres two other ruined fort sites which I can check out.

Edit: Also, this site reconfigured itself when I used fast travel to get myself unstuck. I've found a piece of clothing, but my adventurer is in werebeast form atm.

Edit: Yep, the clothes in there are large sized.

Edit: It might not be ALL abandoned fortresses. The one which has a FB and nobody living in there (but nothing organized) has completely empty bedrooms. Couldn't find the FB though, I think it may be in a detached part of the fort.

However, the two which had a FB and some people there, yet nothing organized, have the large sized clothing.
