0009460: Dead visitors' petitions remain active indefinitely after death
If you kill a- *COUGH* I MEAN, if a visitor happens to die after petitioning for long-term residency, but before the petition is accepted or denied, the petition remains even after their death, for an uncertainly long period of time.
This is a particularly minor bug, as the petition simply goes away when accepted or denied, with no other effects.

If you accept it after their death, are they in legends treated still as part of your fort? Have you seen this also for citizenship petition?

I'm afraid no one has ever applied for citizenship in any of my forts thus far, but I haven't checked the legends yet, so I'll do that.

EDIT: Nope, they are not treated as part of your fort in Legends.

I have got two residents that applied for full citizenship, both exactly two years after they arrived. It takes time.
