I kinda like this, it should be kept in. Maybe only have it happen to humanoids with a low memory stat?

This just happened to me, visiting human stole an artifact instrument worth well over 200,000 dwarfbucks (and I had just designated a pedestal to steal it back out of his inventory too).

This is more challenging to prevent with artifacts since you can't mark them for dumping to get them out of visitor inventories.

I've seen this happen with visitors picking up mugs to get a drink then walking off the map carrying them. It was pure luck I spotted him leaving, and who keeps track of mugs? you can make dozens more, so I think that might be why it's gone unnoticed.

Bumping this because I have a related bug. Visiting Human has picked up one of my hand-held instruments (a "Ber") but is not playing it in the tavern. He shows up as "Simulating Ber" even when his inventory shows "Ber - Hauled".

The bug is that this human is ignoring his hauled instrument that he picked up in my fort, instead "simulating" the instrument. Most likely will end up with him stealing the instrument after he leaves the map, too.
