Summary0010672: Artifacts teleports from player inventory
DescriptionI play a game where create a lot of fortresses linked by railway.
So I use adventurer to bring books from all fortresses into main.
I picked up some books (4 number, in case), then start to move to the east. After some time I found the book (that I already hauled) on the land near my railway.
After this I look into inventory and didn't find any books.

Then I moved west and found this books lying on ground. I picked up sum of them again and weared artifact ring. After some time this happens again.

I suppose that it related to raiding.
Steps To ReproduceLoad my save.
Move to the west (best way is to place minecart on railway, press `u`, then choose ride)
Pick up some books and other artifacts found
Move to the east from last western point.
Accidently loose artifacts from inventory and find them on ground

I made more easy reproducible save.

In this save you need only to skip your steps and minecart will move using elevation.

At first you have 3 books.
After 2-3 screens books disappear from inventory (it is likely happens on site change)

Related to issue http://www.bay12games.com/dwarves/mantisbt/view.php?id=1179, [^] I would suggest linking them to both saves in there.

Did you mean this report chaosvolt 0001179 ? your link is faulty use a (#) before the numeric input to hyperlink reports, it would seem relevant by means of duplication following the issue report summary.

Yes, likely to be the same problem.
In my experience they are not duplicated but still disappear.

Ah. Yeah I meant that one, yes. Seems I messed up in copying the link.

This should be fixed for next time. It was a relatively new bit of code, so won't relate to older issues.
