The only chance to get this looked at is to provide a save that causes it to happen. If it happens to you on any save it's probably not cause by DF itself, but something specific to your environment, or it would have been reported by others. DF is up to 0.44.09, so you're posting a bug report for an old version: you should try to upgrade and see if that resolves it (probably not, as nothing like that has been fixed). If you're using tools and/or mods you ought to mention those, as crashes sometimes are cause by tools rather than DF itself. |

Are you using TWBT? That plugin has been known to cause occasional cursor movement crashes, and is included by default in some starter packs. |

Thanks for the feedback. I know think the problem is caused by DF Hack because when I disable that the problem goes away. I am using .05 because when I downloaded the upgrade a week ago, that was the latest version available with the MacOS extension pack. I will try now with DF Hack but without TWBT |

Is it an issue with "view unit", "go to unit", or both? The two are distinct options, and usually you can't zoom to a unit immediately after viewing it (you have to back out of a screen first). |

This tracker is for vanilla Dwarf Fortress bugs. Problems with mods (including DFHack and TWBT) should be reported to the mods' maintainers. |
