Summary0011197: Unretiring adventurers gives me control of the wrong historical figure, for some reason is specific to only one world
DescriptionI retired my elephant man Nomar at a local hamlet to play some fortress mode (these are in the same world btw). After a few in game months I retired my fort and decided to unretire my character, however when I selected his name in "play as a specific person" instead of loading up as an elephant man, I loaded up as some random naked elf with a book in his hands (yes I'm serious) with a completely different name on the other side of the world. I decided the best course of action was to kill myself and try the process again to play as Nomar. After drowning in a river I checked Legends mode to see if Nomar was still alive (he had gotten an infected trunk so I was worried he might have died when he was retired) and low and behold he was still alive. After searching in Legends mode some more I learned the Elf was also a historical fig with 200 years of history before the game made me play as him. I go to play as Nomar again but are rerouted once again to the elf that I had drowned with the "You have deceased" message at the bottom of my screen. I was very confused to say the least

As a test I then made a human peasant and even met my retired Elephant adventurer as an NPC, but when I retired this human and tried to unretire him I was rerouted to a completely different elf (not the dead one, just another one) instead of the human. I also had a second world that I used for testing, made a standard human, retired her, and unretired her with no issue whatsoever. It seems that this retiring issue is specific to only one world and I haven't been able to replicate it on other worlds I have generated

I have no idea whats going on, I've unretired forts and adventurers before with no issue but the game just isn't allowing me to play as my old adventurers, instead rerouting me to other Historical Figs. I've been loading old saves (the ones before I tried to unretire Nomar) in an effort of trying to test to see whats wrong, but the same thing keeps happening.
Steps To ReproduceIts only specific to a single world in my saves, all I have to do is make an adventurer and retire them, then attempt to unretire them, which for some reason gives me control of a different historical fig.
Additional InformationI've also retired the Elf and attempted to load up as Nomar, when trying to unretire by both selecting the Elf or Nomars name I'll always be rerouted to the Elf.

Are you playing with save compression on?
Once Adventurer saves are corrupted (possibly by that, possibly by something else) all sorts of weird stuff starts happening. Like this.
