Trees are indeed a bug, but logs should burn. But you don't mention testing them, so I'm marking as a straight-up duplicate.

Actually I had the exact same experience with logs. I had some newly-cut trees where the lava flowed, and the logs didn't burn. Sorry, should have been clearer.
Save file is here: if you want to have a look: http://dffd.wimbli.com/file.php?id=2571 [^]

Do you have temperature turned on?

Edit: Dumping logs into lava results in them disappearing - presumably burning up. There were no logs close to lava that I could see be engulfed, save 1, and the lava isn't getting anywhere near to it yet.

Edit 2: And magma successfully burned up tower cap logs that I forced it to engulf by breaching the retaining wall you had.

I don't see any bug here that isn't covered by 0001567. I'll be resolving this ... shortly.

Yes, trees do not burn in magma.
With your save I couldn't reproduce logs not burning on a clean install of DF. I can only assume you have temperature turned off or some such thing. They got pushed, but did eventually burn. If I remember correctly, they burned in 2/7 magma.

You can reopen this again if you wish.
