So far I have attempted to root out the problem in the following ways: cancel all jobs at smelter remove mayor free barracks remove military and free barracks undesignated all stockpiles removed all workshop jobs disabled all dwarves' abilities (even cleaning) None of these actions made any difference, the game still crashed. I could go in and try to determine an exact frame where it crashes and maybe I will do that next. |

I had a bit of time, so now I have a new save that crashes after exactly 17 steps. http://dffd.wimbli.com/file.php?id=2608 [^] |

It has something to do with the body parts - if you open the stocks screen and try to expand the list, it crashes (even if you forbid them). It is whatever is in your refuse pile on the ground floor (z level 0), starting on the left, column 2, bottom of that column. Have you done any modding? For some reason there is a cow shell in your refuse. |

Did you add shells to some creature after world generation, as in 0001271? |

That seems to be it. I checked the raw and there is some modding in there. |

Cow shells, eh? Thanks for investigating, Dwarfu! |
