Is your dwarven liaison still arriving every year?

I have the same problem, and the dwarven liaison is still arriving and making trade agreements as usual.

EDIT: Yeah, my fort just got promoted to county with no actual count.

Yep, same as JoRo. Liaison still visiting me, promotion as usual, just without any new baron/duke/count

Got the same problem, here is a save in which you can see i got all the requirements, liaison officer still coming, but dead baroness is not replaced. [^]
I just saw something wrong with her tomb too, as she is named Mestthos Akmambomrek, Diagnoser instead of Baroness.

Yep, I have the same exact problem. Compounding this weirdness is the fact that the Baron was my expedition leader. However, the Baron/leader never actually died - they just *disappeared*. It's like they wandered off the edge of the map and just never returned. They are not listed in the dead units screen. It's been several in-game years and the Baron still has not been replaced.
