Summary0006444: Storage of stone cabochons in gem stockpiles is invisibly controlled by Allow/Block All
DescriptionI started my new dwarf fortress and assigned my gem cutter task to cut limestone and granite in order to make him practise. Meanwhile I created a stockpile for rough gems, to remove them from passages. Then I see my dwarves, carrying cut stones onto the rough gems stockpile. Cut gems however stays in jeweller workshop, so this is specific only for cut stones.
Steps To Reproduce1)Create jeweller workshop
2)Assign your gem cutter to cut stones, not gems (ores and economic stones are fine too)
3)Create a gem stockpile and customize it to accept only rough gems
4)See how cut stones are transferred to your rough gems stockpile

Which stockpile are the cut stones being moved to? I see a couple dozen limestone cabochons in the leftmost jeweler's workshop, but I don't see any in a stockpile. I tried enabling the storage of rough gems in a stockpile -- still nothing.

Sorry for loooong delay:) See save http://dffd.wimbli.com/file.php?id=9258 [^] First unfeground level, big rough gem stockpile in empty room. You can see three pieces of cut limestone in it as well as the rough gems.

Confirmed that cabochons will be stored in any gem stockpile, depending on whether "Block All" was used.

I'm experiencing this bug in 40.07.

Cabochons are being removed from a cut gem stockpile and moved to a rough gem stockpile.

Furthermore, there are no cabochon-specific stockpile sub-settings. I would like an option to (f)orbid and (p)ermit cabochons in my gen stockpiles.

Both stones and gems can be cut into "cabochons" (gems can also be cut into gem-specific shapes) - does this problem apply to gems and stones, or does it only apply to stones?

Because if it's the latter, then the problem is just that stone types aren't listed under the "cut gems" section (but they still get enabled/disabled when you use Allow/Block All).

Quietust, no, only stone cabochons go to rough gem stockpile. See jeweller workshop and rough gems stockpile around it. Only stone cabochons hauled to stockpile, while there is also at least one gem cabochon in workshop. http://dffd.wimbli.com/file.php?id=9459 [^]
