Summary | 0007968: Masons build wooden walls out of fabulous materials without using up the material
Description | I've gotten this on a save from 40.07 and a fresh test from 40.08: a wall that is supposed to be made out of wood is built by a dorf with masonry set using no material at all. First game was "Unknown material wall", second game was "amber wall". (I didn't even know we had amber :) ) Tried both times on reclaim embarks; the first used peach wood from a cut tree, the second try was with wagon wood.
Steps To Reproduce | Embark (I don't know if it has to be reclaim) Set some walls to be built out of wood Let a dorf without carpentry enabled go do it.

On further examination, this bug does NOT apply to the left-most or top-most wall segment in a multi-segment section, but it does to the others. When deconstructed, the walls simply vanish - you don't get the rock/amber/unknown material to play with. Erm... it's actually more broken than that. On this fort I'm getting them to do it even with rock walls with masonry enabled. I just started a fresh one and got the same thing (amber from fungiwood) on a non-reclaim regular 2x2 embark, no advanced parameters in the worldgen either. |

You're positive it reproduces in 0.40.08? This was supposedly fixed (0007937). |

Oh, crap --- never mind, I'm an idiot. Somehow I opened 40.07 by accident that time, I'm sure of it. Is thee a way to kill this report? |
