|0008131||Dwarf Fortress||Dwarf Mode -- Jobs, Hauling||public||2014-08-23 13:43||2014-08-23 19:52|
|Target Version||Fixed in Version|
|Summary||0008131: Items from deconstruction can land on unwalkable points and can't be removed from there|
|Description||I deconstructed two floor tiles and the resultant two blocks landed on top of the 'solid' half of two screw pumps. Because dwarves can't actually stand on top of them it is impossible for them to be removed to stockpile or dumped unless I deconstruct the screw pumps first.|
|Steps To Reproduce||1. Place two screw pumps alongside each other.|
2. Build wall and ramp either side
3. Build two floor grids so dwarves can walk from one ramp, over the screw pumps, to the other ramp.
4. Simultaneously deconstruct both floor tiles.
(Probable) result: stone blocks left floating in 'open space' above output side of the two screw pumps.

This can also happen to fortifications, but at least those can be deconstructed if they were constructed rather than carved.
Though, since you can jump through fortifications, I wonder if the dwarves would try to jump to get at the item?
