Summary | 0010804: Landed nobility appointed as diplomat despite existing diplomat still being alive, loses nobility title
Description | My count seems to have been appointed as the new diplomat for my civ. As a result, his county was lost entirely. This, while annoying, isn't really a bug - but the issue arises that there's already an appointed diplomat of the civ that is alive and well. The civ should never be appointing more than one diplomat. Usually I'd provide a save, but I using a fairly modded version of the game. But nothing that should have resulted in the above issue.

We probably do need a save for this. What's possible is the entity_default.txt file has more than one diplomat under Dwarves in your mods. |

The save itself has been deleted, sadly. But the game wasn't modded to have more than one diplomat, I can assure you. The good news is that the (other) diplomat reappointed the landed title the following year for the fort, so it isn't a permanent loss. |

Ok, this actually only seems to occur upon the elevation of the baron to a count. Has anyone else experienced this? |

Looks like when the outpost liaison visits the barony is re-established, and both the original and new diplomat lose their positions...for some reason champion position in the fortress seems to stay even when the baron "disappears" |

Fortunately one of the old saves reproduced this, and I've fixed the problem for next time. |
