Summary | 0002567: Elven Caravan dropping some items
Description | Recently (it's the second time already) elves began dropping part of their items at my trade depot (not in, but just near), when leaving. I became curious - why the hell do they do it. I can only remember that i've made them several offerings (just for fun). And after that they began dropping some items (not all their trade shares, but only part). Well, it's not really annoying, though i have to forbid all those items, cause i have no need in wooden armor and weapons.

What particular items are they leaving? Were the items they left any of your offerings? What are the properties of the items (forbidden, stolen, etc.)? Were the elves attacked or startled? |

What particular items are they leaving? Well, some ropes, buckets, cages (with animals too)... some wooden armor. Randomly Were the items they left any of your offerings? Nope What are the properties of the items (forbidden, stolen, etc.)? No properties. My dwarves just rush and take it. BTW how to know that item is stolen? Were the elves attacked or startled? No, i care about safety of every caravan (for arrival and departure both) |

With what version of Dwarf Fortress was your world generated? If it was prior to 0.31.06, this has probably already been fixed. |

Nope, it was 0.31.03 :D Well, then it's just world gen. bug? |
(0009652) Footkerchief (manager) 2010-07-05 09:16 |
Yeah, the bug can't be removed from pre-31.06 saves. Worlds generated in 31.06+ won't have this problem. |
