Summary | 0003707: Dwarf uses many items for artifact, resulting artifact does not have them. | |||||
Description | So basically twice now, out of ~7 artifacts, the fey dwarf has taken many different materials for his artifact. But when the artifact is completed, those materials simply vanish and 1) are not listed on the artifact and 2) do not effect its value at all. It's like the dwarf used for example just one bar of steel, instead of a steel bar, two gems, a platinum bar and some leather + rocks. The rest simply don't show up on the end result. Seems to be completely random. I've had two of my many artifacts "eat up" precious materials and not make any use of them whatsoever on the end result. | |||||
Steps To Reproduce | 1) Get a mood dwarf to make an artifact with many materials 2) Repeat until one of them gobbles up the items resulting in a very basic artifact instead of the multi-material awesomeness it should have been. | |||||

Whoa. I typed "out of ~ 7" artifacts without the space and it messed up the text. |

Have you had this happen with anything besides bone-base-material artifacts? |

Also, were you forbidding items around the fortress in an attempt to control the materials used for the artifact? |

I did not control the artifact by forbidding. One of the artifacts is a dog bone mask, second is a dog bone floodgate. Does it have something to do with bones? |
