Summary0004246: Game is not saving when asked to
DescriptionI play via "LazyNewbPack[0.31.21][V8.4]" but it's the same problem if i'm starting "Dwarf Fortress.exe" directly.

The game is set to save automatic at season change and this is working fine, but if i try to save via the game menu it's reacting as if it's saving and jumps to the main menu but no files are saved.
Steps To ReproduceIt'd the same every time.
Additional InformationI have tied to place the game folder in different locations and on different hard drives with no result .

 Are you sure the files aren't being saved? Dwarf Fortress uses a roguelike system for saving via the menu. It's easier to explain with an example.
If you load the save Region1-Winter, play for a while, and then save it, Dwarf Fortress over-writes the old save Region1-Winter with the current data. (It then takes you back to the main menu) Thus it doesn't look like any new data has been saved, but it actually has been.
Does this explain your behaviour?

 Without updates I'm marking this as unable to reproduce. Zanziik, I see you just started following this issue recently - if you are experiencing a similar bug, I suggest you open your own ticket.
