Summary | 0004350: Endless loop of evaluation and traction, no progress made on healing.
Description | A dwarf was horribly injured, and had all injuries treated except for an overlapping fracture to the left shoulder bone. The left shoulder bone is also cut apart. The chief medical dwarf then went into a loop of evaluating the injury every day, and periodically placing the dwarf in traction on a traction bench. This loop has been going on for six months now.
Steps To Reproduce | Not sure what the cause is- I think it is related to overlapping fractures or compound fractures somehow, so try to induce those injuries and see if they are healed.

http://dffd.wimbli.com/file.php?id=4042 [^] Save. The camera should be centered on the hospital, though if not you can search the units panel for the afflicted dwarf. His name is Mistem Kadollogem, Wrestler. You can see his history from his health screen to get an idea of what I'm talking about, and if you zoom to him and unlock the doors the Chief Medical Dwarf should be available to come get stuck in his loop. |

Next time, they should stop ripping him out of the traction bench and putting him back on bed -- when an overlapping fracture isn't in a bench, it rebreaks fully, so he'd never heal. The evaluation process is normal and is what will eventually get him out of the traction bench now, though I might reduce the frequency. I got your guy up on crutches and walking around, anyway. |
