Description

The save game under this link reliably crashes when creating a new character and going through the next steps: start a new adventurer, and when selecting the starting civ, scroll down the list towards where the retired characters should be; this is where the game crashes. Save:

Some background information: This save is part of the museum succession game, and the world has been extensively played in: 15 fortresses, 30+ adventurers and more than 50 in-game years. The problem only manifested itself recently, the following save, 2 turns earlier, should work correctly:

The world was generated in df 34.05; the only modifications to the vanilla game are that both dwarves and goblins build cities.
