Summary0006748: Cannot train animals for hunting or war
DescriptionI will toggle the stray dog as available, select a specific dwarfy as his trainer and toggle hunting training on. Dwarfy will take the stray dog to the animal training zone, and they will both will stay there. In the (a)nnouncements the message "[Dwarfy], Ranger cancels Train Stray Dog (Tame) to Hunt: No creature." Dwarfy will then rapidly toggle in and out of idle mode as he repeatedly tries to train said dog. This message has been repeated as many as x315 times in the announcements.
Steps To Reproduce> Have a Stray Dog, Female (Tame) and a dwarf who trains animals
> Set up an Animal Training Zone
> Toggle the Stray Dog's Hunting Training on
Additional InformationSaid dwarfy has already trained one dog in hunting, which follows him around.

 I just saw this in my fort. I wasn't selecting a specific dwarf to be the trainer, I left trainer as "Any".

 This happened in my fort just now as well, I can upload a save if necessary. I tried opening up another training zone, but that didn't alleviate the issue.

 Happened to me too. I embarked with 2 dogs, one male and one female, the female got trained, but the male would always generate a "No creature available" warning

 Embarked with 5 females and 2 males, and no permutation of training orders or zones gave me anything other than the Animal Not Found spam

 I have had this issue in every fort I've tried to train war dogs in.

 I have this issue too. Only the dogs which I embarked with can't be trained. And there is another fun. The dogs embarked with don't give birth. There wasn't any puppy birthing in my fortress during the first year, until a female dog came with the immigrant the second year.

 I also get this same problem when trying to train Semi-Wild animals, like Rhesus Macaques

 I am also getting this problem on 40.03.
I create an animal training zone, set a dog to hunting training (Any trainer) and once the trainer takes the do to the training zone it starts spamming the "no creature" message.

 I just encountered this bug as well. Female dog cannot be trained, nor give birth.

I also have some sheep that may be affected. Though I can't train them, they do appear to be unable to breed. Two ewes and a ram haven't produced a single lamb in around 2 years. I bought two goats from a caravan and they had a kid in a few mere months.

 Looks like lingering combat data that was checked in one place but not another (causing spam). Should be fixed for next time.
