The last name is actually different. That guy is an administrator, but you may need to find the mayor.

Nah, the apparent difference in last name is because the game outputs the name translated in some places, and untranslated in others. And the last sentence is always a historical tidbit about the person they told you to find. This report is accurate, as far as I can tell.

Actually it's the same guy, the other surname is just in Dwarfish, the other in English. Also, he saysouright that he became the administrator he is speaking of.

The save in a RAR-file seems to be too big (136MB) for DFFD, being an unculled large region. Will hosting it on depositfiles.com be fine or should I contact DFFD for permission to upload a larger file?

I tried genning the world with same seeds and culling on, but it ended up slightly different causing the town in question to not exist.

Bah, I initially grabbed the save while there was still unnecessary stuff in the "current"-folder I thought incorrectly to be necessary. Region2-folder alone was just under 100 MB and it works on 31.02 too.

I've had this happen as well with a demonic law-giver (which is odd since I've had other demonic law-givers actually give out quests).

I encountered this too, but I can't currently connected to DFFD to upload the save. It's a demonic law-giver and it's repeatable if you talk to them about Service enough times. They are definitely talking about themselves because they say, "In 4, I became the law-giver..." as part of their description of the 'other' person.

This is very likely now fixed with the new way of getting quests. Though I'm not sure what's the way of dealing with bugs that get fixed by "accident", whether to let them fall from memory or be marked as fixed.
