Summary | 0009944: Mining designation reveals caverns before being discovered |
Description | This occurs when a cavern layer has been pierced through without actually discovering the layer (through luck or skill alike). It's possible to encounter damp stone from the water in this cavern when digging underneath the layer (this is to be expected). After this damp stone has been located, designating an area to be mined in the (undiscovered) cavern layer, the designated area will show what kind of tiles will be mined, rather than the generic completely-filled-in blank designation tile. |
Steps To Reproduce | I would assume one needs to successfully dig underneath a cavern layer without actually discovering it, in order to reproduce this. So far, I have not been lucky enough to "miss" a cavern layer again. |
Additional Information | After letting the designated mining be completed, the cavern will be "uncovered" as usual, with all the necessary and expected pop-up notifications. |
