Summary | 0010149: Loyalty cascade-esque killings within militia after killing a werebeast |
Description | I had a dwarf who'd been bitten by a werebeast in the hospital. I stationed two squads of my militia all around them before the full moon. One squad was all citizens of my fort. The other squad was mainly mercenaries, but included a baron consort of another site. This baron consort had trained normally with the other members of his squad and everything seemed relatively normal. But then after the werebeast turned and the militia killed it, I noticed that there was still some combat happening. Two dwarves in the mercenary squad were attacked and killed by dwarves from both squads. One was a random mercenary, and one was the baron consort. I'm guessing maybe because the werebeast was a citizen in a way, people got mad at non-citizens killing a citizen? Still it's a bit strange, since they all had just worked together to kill the werebeast. |
Additional Information | I've also noticed that some (civilian) dwarves kill were-infected dwarves even after they turn back into normal form. This seems to make sense and it's actually convenient, but maybe it's somehow related.
I don't have a save for this. |
