Summary0003523: Miner Cancels Dig: Dangerous Terain and Fortress resets itself.
DescriptionNew player - started today.

Tried the Ironhand 0.491 all in one but had problems with some of the icons showing in the text. And then had the following message "Miner Cancels Dig: Dangerous Terain". When i looked at the level or did find the Dwarf it showed me the whole level being black and all excavations done have gone but the dwarf is still there but i cant see him. So loaded up the LazyNewbPack{0.31.16]

This was much better faster and i could read the text ok so getting into a game - tapped a murky pool to build a farm then got the above message and all my work is gone - the pool has reset it self to showing before any digging has been done.

Is this a noob complaint or is it something simple to rectify - checked the forums but nothing showing.

Dont want to start again to have this happen :S

This is basically 0003335, which is probably caused by some memory strangeness in the current version of DF.

You might have to try an older version to prevent it from happening.
