Changing the color values have no effect on TEXT mode, despite the ability of almost all modern terminals to render 256 colors (more than enough for dwarf fortress).
This, combined with issue 0010054, conspire to make PRINT_MODE:TEXT unusable on OS X. And combined with 0009762 and 0010052 mean there is literally no Dwarf Fortress mode for OS X that's usable in fullscreen, nor is there any hack to make any of them usable. |
