Summary | 0001165: Shift A menu shows targets that are not anywhere within view, and are attackable. Save included.
Description | This save is set on a human town I settled on in an earlier embark. I disassembled their keep and let it collapse, and then dug straight down to the HFS. After that, the demons would not fly up the hole I made into hell, nor would my masons respond to any orders to construct a staircase downwards. I abandoned and came back as an adventurer. The adventurer went straight down into the fortress, and found humans and cave lizards, which I had seen while in fortress mode, hanging out peacefully in my old meeting hall. After that, he jumped into hell and died rather normally. The second adventurer, and the one with the bug I am reporting, started off by swimming in the river for a bit, killing some carp. After, he went down into the caves and explored a bit. On my way down to the second set of caves, there was a crundle on the stairs below my adventurer, so I hit shift-A to try and attack them. This is when I noticed the bug: There were three humans and another crundle that were not anywhere within view, and they were all attackable. (Crundles also needed an enter confirmation to attack, as if they were friendly towards my adventurer... the crundles disagree.) After dispatching the crundle I could see, I tried attacking the "phantom" one, and it died normally, though I could not see where it was, nor did it counterattack. I saved immediately after, not attempting to attack any of the humans. The save can be found here: http://www.mediafire.com/?nmuytjniizy [^]
Steps To Reproduce | Bring up the shift-A attack menu after loading the save. You'll see three humans that are listed as attackable despite them not being within view, let alone within melee range.

See 0000419. The save may come in handy for fixing this one. |
