| Summary | 0005553: Game crashes when starting the "Reclaim" mode | |||||
| Description | When I start the game, go to Dwarf fortress game, choose Reclaim!, arrange what my dwarfs will wear and own, click embark I come to a screen where it shows me a few paragraphs of introduction to the game. When I press enter, after about a 10 seconds, the game just crashes. Here is what the terminal wrote: ./df: line 6: 1729 Segmentation fault (core dumped) ./libs/Dwarf_Fortress $* This is happens each time I try the same process. | |||||

Also, I note that you are using 0.34.01. The most recent version is 0.34.04, and some embark problems were resolved in the meantime (0005082). |

Yeah, 0.34.01 is plagued by save corruption (especially on reclaims, see 0005185) and we can safely chalk this up to that. |
