Summary | 0008295: Dwarf civ looks extinct in Legends but has surviving nobles at elf sites
Description | Started a game with all Dwarf civs dead or at least appeared to be. I was expecting one of my dwarfs to be made monarch thats when the odd thing happened. Someone outside the site was made Queen and 2 other nobles. Checking legends the Queen was living with an Elf civ and still retained being a member while becoming a member of my Civ when i started. Had two migrants waves where the dwarfs where dwarfs appeared to be non-historical figures. Merchants showed up not sure if that is meant to happen. Then had a 3rd migrant wave where they appear to be coming from nowhere, i also checked my Civ screen and it appears the merchants that came became members of my civ. My population is at 39 and the Civ population is at 39, the nobles appear to be unaccounted for somewhere at least according to legends viewer. The saves, 1st is when i started 2nd is later on after the 3rd migrant wave. http://dffd.wimbli.com/file.php?id=9698 [^]
Steps To Reproduce | Have not attempted. 1) Gen a world with all dwarfs civs dead. 2) Start playing when theres a few dwarfs still alive in the world.

The migrants are covered at 0000670. What made the dwarf civs appear extinct in Legends? |

Its one of the two dwarf civs, last site was taken in 103. The last King was born in 19 and died 181. He held the Position of King from 40-249. Then in 250 a Dwarf that was raised by Elfs became Queen, she also retains her member relationships with the elfs and my civ at the same time. There was only about 66 or so dwarfs in the world now with the migrants theres alot more. It seemed pretty dead by not having a site at all or any members, not sure how they kept on going. Also had "No outpost liaison? How curious..." When the merchants showed up. After the merchants left i check the Civ screen and there were new nobles such as Diplomat and others, said most of them were merchants. Out of this i wasn't expecting a third migrant wave, i did get one and it seemed they were not historical figures. I could understand the first two just not the third one seeing as there wasn't a population to draw from. |
