(0007954) Wyrm (reporter) 2010-06-08 13:05 edited on: 2010-06-13 09:21	The suggested solution (detailed in report 1909) doesn't work. Sensible permutations on this do not work either. Edit: I was being dumb. You have to _delete_ the binding to "String: Character 127" (by backspacing it) before it will work. Works fine now.

(0008807) Wyrm (reporter) 2010-06-20 15:10	In v.08, the above workaround is broken. If you delete "String: Character 127", you get peak-spam when you enter text entry.

(0023125) NYDwarf (reporter) 2012-06-29 12:03	I can't do the workaround in here... OS X 10.7.4 DF 0.34.11 (Late June 2012 version) Key Bindings Text Entry String: Character 127 Deleted the "Insert Key +7F" but didn't help.

(0024808) Aroniyun (reporter) 2014-06-11 19:35	OS X: 10.9.3 DF Version: 34.11 I found success by deleting String: Character 127 "Insert Key +7F" as suggested plus I changed the repeat setting to "don't repeat"

(0028775) lethosor (manager) 2014-08-10 20:05 edited on: 2014-08-10 20:06	I'm almost certain this is the same as 0001909 (the backspace key on my keyboard is labeled "delete", which is likely the cause of some confusion), but please reopen this or PM me on the forums if it isn't. If 0001909 describes this problem and isn't fixed, on the other hand, please contact me or another manager to have that report reopened instead.
